First-Campus Challenge Terms

These terms apply to entries submitted through the First-Campus Challenge form on this website. Effective Date: August 7, 2026.

1. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Baby Says Books LLC are not eligible.
2. Entry period. Entries are accepted while the First-Campus Challenge form is available and close before Baby Says Books publicly reveals its first featured university. Baby Says Books may close or modify the entry period by posting an update on this website.
3. How to enter. Submit one university guess and a valid email address through the official form. Limit one guess per unique email address. The same individual may submit additional guesses using additional valid email addresses. No purchase is necessary to enter the First-Campus Challenge or to have a guess considered.
4. Email consent. By entering, you agree to receive marketing, promotional, launch, and product-update emails from Baby Says Books at the email address submitted with your entry. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email. Unsubscribing after entry does not invalidate an otherwise eligible entry or promotional offer.
5. Correct guess. A guess is correct only if it matches the university publicly identified by Baby Says Books as the first campus featured in its initial book release. Baby Says Books will determine eligibility and correctness in its reasonable discretion.
6. Promotional offer. Each eligible email address associated with a correct guess will receive a single-use promotional code for an exclusive promotional offer. The code will entitle the recipient to one complimentary promotional gift with that recipient's first qualifying Baby Says Books purchase. No purchase is necessary to enter the Challenge or to submit a correct guess. A qualifying purchase is required only to use the promotional offer and receive the complimentary gift.
7. Offer details and restrictions. The promotional code has no cash value, is tied to the qualifying email address, is nontransferable, may not be sold or exchanged for cash, and may not be combined with other offers unless Baby Says Books states otherwise. Limit one promotional offer per eligible winning email address. The specific complimentary gift, qualifying-purchase requirements, expiration date, availability limitations, and any other material conditions will be disclosed when the promotional code is issued. Baby Says Books may substitute a promotional gift of comparable value if the originally planned item is unavailable.
8. Notification and redemption. Entrants with a correct guess will be contacted using the email address submitted with their entry and will receive instructions for using the promotional code. Entrants are responsible for providing a valid email address and for checking spam or promotional folders. The code must be used according to the instructions and any deadline included with the promotional offer.
9. Number of promotional offers and likelihood of a correct guess. Every eligible email address associated with a correct guess will receive the promotional offer, so the number of promotional offers is not predetermined and depends on the number of eligible correct guesses received. The likelihood of submitting a correct guess depends on the university selected by each entrant and cannot be determined in advance.
10. Duplicate, automated, and invalid entries. Baby Says Books may reject entries that use the same email address more than once, as well as automated, incomplete, fraudulent, or otherwise ineligible entries. Baby Says Books is not responsible for lost submissions, technical failures, or inaccurate contact information.
11. Changes or cancellation. Baby Says Books may modify, suspend, or cancel the Challenge if fraud, technical problems, product availability, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect fair or practical administration. Any material change affecting existing entries or promotional offers will be communicated or posted as appropriate.
12. Sponsor. The First-Campus Challenge is sponsored and administered by Baby Says Books LLC and is void where prohibited.
